Welcome! I'm delighted to introduce myself. I am an English and History Secondary teacher, an author, and a lifelong learner with an unwavering passion for stories, the craft of writing, literature and history.

Currently, I am training to become an accredited Book Coach with Author Accelerator. I should be open for "Business" in the second half of 2025. In the meantime, I'll be sharing articles on the writing craft, on publishing your book and mindfulness for writers. Look out for my online courses in 2025 as well. My area of expertise as a book coach will be romance stories and historical fiction with a female point of view. As an educator, I am constantly immersed in research and reading, always uncovering new insights and fascinating stories. This dedication extends beyond the classroom into my creative endeavors. Whether planning and drafting a novel, novella, short story, or poem, research is a cornerstone of my creative writing process, ensuring authenticity and depth in my writing.

 

I am a prolific reader with a wide-ranging literary appetite. Romantic and historical fiction captivate me, but I also have a deep appreciation for creative non-fiction, especially memoirs and books that delve into historical periods of interest.

 

My academic journey has been rich and fulfilling. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and History, a Graduate Diploma in Humanities with a major in Theatre Studies, and a Master of Letters in Creative Writing. My next ambitious goal is to complete my PhD, further solidifying my commitment to lifelong learning.

This depth of skill and knowledge will assist my work as a book coach and to help aspiring and emerging writers in their own story endeavours.
